Kylie Jefferson is a contemporary ballet dancer, actress and choreographer born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Kylie began dancing at the tender age of four; by age six she was the youngest student accepted at the academy level to the prestigious Debbie Allen Dance Academy (DADA) in Culver City, California. Under the tutelage of acclaimed dancer, choreographer, actress, producer and director Debbie Allen, Kylie's love for the performing arts grew to the international stage including the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and in the country of Oman under Ms. Allen's guidance.
Kylie's love for the arts flourished and soon danced and acted her way into numerous commercials and films in her youth. As her passion for ballet grew and she would come to split her preteen summers between DADA and Washington D.C.'s Kirov Academy of Ballet. Jefferson graduated from Boston Conservatory in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts degree in contemporary dance.
Kylie choreographed her first music video for ScHoolboy Q's "CHopstix" featuring Travis Scott for which she received a Universal Dance Awards nomination in the category of Favorite Music Video Performance. Kylie keeps busy with mentoring young dancers, live performances, and dance appearances on 2020 GRAMMYS Awards, The Late Late Show with James Cordon (CBS), and NAACP Image Awards.
In 2019, Kylie Jefferson began starring as "Neveah" in the upcoming ballet drama series "Tiny Pretty Things" based off the self-titled book by authors Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton set to air on Netflix in 2020.
